HATHA YOGA

To clarify the essence of Hatha Yoga, it is derived from the combination of two bija mantras: “ha” (representing prana, the life force) and “tha” (representing the mind, or mental energy).

To clarify the essence of Hatha Yoga, it is derived from the combination of two bija mantras: “ha” (representing prana, the life force) and “tha” (representing the mind, or mental energy). Therefore, Hatha Yoga signifies the union of these two forces. When pranic and mental energies unite, a significant transformation occurs, leading to the awakening of higher consciousness. Contrary to popular belief, Hatha Yoga is not merely a series of physical exercises for flexibility and strength. Instead, it is a system of techniques designed to balance the lunar and solar energies within the body, fostering overall harmony and spiritual awakening.

HATHA YOGA OFFERINGS FROM YOGOMICS

We offer classes that belong to the beginners level and advance level.

Level 1 Yoga Practice
This program is designed to help new practitioners not only learn the techniques of physical yoga but also understand its philosophy and spiritual significance. The experienced instructors leading the class will ensure that each participant receives personalized guidance to perform poses correctly. At the end of each session, there will be a short Q&A to address any questions related to the practice.

Key Elements of the Practice:

Body Stability & Breath Awareness – A foundational exercise that helps relax the body and calm the breath, preparing both the mind and body for an effective practice session. This technique creates physical and mental stability, enabling practitioners to sit comfortably without distractions during meditation.

Personal Intention Setting – A short affirmation or positive statement that aligns with the practitioner’s life purpose, reinforcing mental clarity and focus.

Joint Mobility & Healing Techniques – The practice begins with a series of movements designed to release tension from the joints, benefiting individuals with arthritis, high blood pressure, heart conditions, or other concerns that limit vigorous physical activity. These movements help clear energy blockages, enhance self-awareness, and improve coordination.

Breathwork Techniques – Controlled breathing exercises are incorporated to energize, balance, and calm the body and mind, supporting overall wellness.

Energy Activation Gestures – Specialized hand, eye, tongue, and body positions strengthen energy pathways, activating specific energy circuits.

Energy Flow Locks – Techniques that apply intentional muscle contractions in different areas of the body to remove energy blockages and enhance the flow of vital life force within energy channels.

Posture & Flexibility Training – Practicing yoga postures with focused awareness of breath and body alignment. The session progresses from gentle stretches to intermediate-level poses, covering spinal twists, forward and backward bends, side stretches, upward extensions, and an inverted pose series toward the end.

Guided Meditation – Foundational yoga techniques designed to purify and balance energy within the body. Once this energy is harmonized, the mind becomes more focused, making meditation easier. These meditative sessions incorporate wisdom from ancient scriptures such as The Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, The Saundarya Lahari, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, and other spiritual texts.

Deep Relaxation & Conscious Rest – Each session concludes with an intensive guided relaxation exercise known as “Wakeful Sleep.” This practice helps clear deep-rooted subconscious patterns, allowing practitioners to release mental conditioning and achieve profound inner calm.
